Farstad Shipping has received two new term contracts offshore Brazil. Petrobras has awarded IMR vessel Far Saga (pictured) a six-year firm charter with six years’ options. This will involve ROV support and other subsea related activities, and will see the Far Saga depart the North Sea for Brazilian waters during December 2013.
Petrobras has also extended its contract with AHTS vessel Far Sea by four more years from November 2013. The total contract value from these fixtures, excluding options, is approximately NOK 1.1 billion.
