Havila Shipping has entered into a new contract with Subsea 7 for incumbent ROV support vessel Havila Subsea. The new charter has a firm period of one year, which will keep the unit occupied until at least the end of 2014. Subsea 7 also has two further one-year options available.
Havila has also secured a two-well plus four one-well options contract for PSV Havila Fortune (pictured c/o D Dodds) from Centrica. The vessel will be used to support Centrica’s drilling campaign with jackup Noble Byron Welliver in UK waters. The firm portion of this charter has an estimated duration of 280 days. Havila Fortune recently returned to the North Sea from West Africa.
